He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Martha Ann "Mimi" Hogshire; his daughter Nancy Lex; his mother Nannie B.; his children, Peyton Thomas "Petie" Lex and Martha Lex Vaughan; his children-in-law, Denise Lex and Mark Vaughan; his sister Mary Lou Hilling; his grandchildren, Devin Lex, Jordan Lex (Sarah), Taylor Vaughan (Jessy), Peyton Vaughan (Rosie), Mason Vaughan (Skyler), Lucy and Caroline Lex; and his great grandchildren, Urban, Blake Lex, Clark Vaughan, Thomas and John River Lex. He was also cherished by children and son in law.
To honor the memory of such a titanic figure a private family ceremony will be held, and memorial donations may be made to The College of William and Mary.
