Thorpe of Norfolk, VA; his sister Joyce Cardenas; his siblings-in-law, Enrique Cardenas of San Antonio, Texas and Darlene Taylor of Alexandria, Virginia; and his children, Vaughn Thorpe, Lloyd Thorpe and Romesa Hoyen. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
