She is survived by: her son Leslie King; her granddaughter Tasharia Whitley; her great grandchildren, Milani Taylor and Miriyah Whitley; her sister Mary King; her niece Cheryl King; her great-niece Quanisha King; her great-nephew Keonte King; and her close friend Yvonne Brickhouse.
