She is survived by: her daughters, Tina VanMeter (Jeff) and Jill Sabourin; her grandchildren, Matthias VanMeter (Kyra), Allie Morton (Ryan), Kyle Sabourin (Rachel) and Ryan VanMeter (Autumn); and her great grandchildren, Ryker, Cullen Morton and Mia Sabourin.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens (6329 E Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23502).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association or the Virginia Beach SPCA.
