She is survived by: her son Charles Lance Akers; her daughter-in-law Anna Lorich Akers; her granddaughter Adeline Ruth Akers; her sisters, Joyce Spradlin and Iola Bishop; and her siblings-in-law, Paula Jean Sires, Jerry Bishop and Daniel Sutphin.
