He was predeceased by: his parents, A. Rufus Tonelson and Sara Tonelson. He is survived by: his wife Anita; his children, Erin, Matthew and Melanie Tonelson; his grandchildren, Madelyn and Reid; his brother Dr. Steve Tonelson (Ilona); his nieces, Claire and Rachel Tonelson; and his brother-in-law Joel Shapiro.
