We announce the death of Mara Lousie (Linaberger) Watson in Norfolk, Virginia, born in Stahlstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 8, 2026, at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Walter Albert Linaberger and Jessie Rebecca "Becky" Linaberger (Lytle); her husband William Edward Watson; her granddaughter Ava Grace Neumann; her brothers, Charles A. Linaberger and James T. Linaberger; her sisters-in-law, Elsa Linaberger and Sandra Linaberger; and her niece Anne Linaberger.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Watson Neumann and Edward Allen Watson (Sandra); her granddaughter Audrey Ellen Neumann; her nieces, Mara Linaberger (Michael Haynie) and Elizabeth Linaberger (Brian Best); and her nephew-in-law Thomas Mazula (late Anne Linaberger).
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wellsburg United Methodist Church (1045 Charles St, Wellsburg, WV 26070). A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
