She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles William Peery and Anita Peters Peery; her husband Tom R. Bashara; and her brother William Robert Peery (Bob). She is survived by: her sons, Thomas Bashara (Sondra) and David Bashara (Kelley); her grandchildren, Ella, Lucy, Bailey and David; and her sister Annette Armstrong (Jim). She is also survived by two sons. along with cousins, four nephews and dear friends.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (8100 Granby St, Norfolk, VA 23505).
