It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Lillian Clark Dowling of Norfolk, Virginia, born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on August 7, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Margaret (Clark Dowling) and John Clark; her husband Joseph Ernest Dowling Sr.; her children, Marion Dowling, Sandra Brooks, Kenneth Dowling and Joseph Dowling; her siblings, Rosa Hollis, Henretta Green, Sussie Brown, Rebecca Felters, Thelma Matthews, John Clark Jr., David Clark, Thomasina Means and Bernette Salley; and her children, Paulette Dowling, JoAnn Williams, Marguarite Dowling and Lesa Smith. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
With the uncertainty of the Delta and Omicron variant and the rise in COVID-19 infections in our area, Riddick. Funeral Service will be following CDC guidance and all persons are to wear a mask (regardless of vaccination status) while inside our premises and practice social distancing.
