She is survived by: her children, Charles Allison McDowell of Virginia Beach, Gwendolyn McDowell Washington (Samuel C.) of Washington, D. C. and Patrick Joseph McDowell of Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Samuel, Seth, Connor, Owen and Marie; and her siblings, Alice Walton Haskins of Columbia, William Linwood Walton of San Diego and Faith Walton McKeithen (Bertram) of Baltimore. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
