He is survived by: his wife Sharronna Benton; his children, Akira Jewel of Monroe, GA, Meyah Benton (Virginia Beach), Keesean, Percell, Jayson Lawton (Virginia Beach), Jessica Rozycki (Virginia Beach) and Robert Richardson Tajael (New York); his granddaughter Reyna Royce; his mother Dollie Benton Robinson; and his siblings, Tonya Benton Corley (Gavin), Coleman E. Benton (Charlene) and Lamont Mitchell.
