She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertha Bell and Frank Bell; her sons, Mark Beekman, Stanley Bell and Calvin Bell; and her sisters, Willie Etta Williams and Betty Lucille Bell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Yolanda Bray of Norfolk and Stephanie Beekman of Alexandria, Virginia; and her sister Earnestine Williams of Willingboro. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
