She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Chappell and Essie Chappell (family: Virginia); her husband Vincent Morris; her son Mallory Morris; and her siblings, Dewey Chappell, Geneva McMurren and Thelma Jackson.
She is survived by: her sons, Bobby Morris, Tracy Morris of Maryland and Ronnie Morris of Georgia; her grandson Marcus Morris of Georgia; and her sisters-in-law, Frances Wilson of Norfolk and Carolyn Morris of Indianapolis, Indiana. She is also survived by eight nieces; ten nephews as well as a host of great nieces and nephews.
