With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marzell Sims (Norfolk, Virginia), who passed away on July 2, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Carter and Charlene Buckingham; her son Kevin Sims; and her aunt Leona Howell (Will B. Sims). She is survived by: her children, Carolyn House (Franklin) of Kentwood, Michigan, Willie Sims of Norfolk, Jeff Sims, Steve Sims (Lillie), Dwayne Sims (Felicia) and Michael Sims of Dallas, Texas; and her close friends, Cynthia, Cat, Anita, Ruby, Phyllis and Ron. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a recently born great-great-granddaughter.
