He is survived by: his pet Sugar Ray Robinson; his wife Clair Berube; his children, Johnny, Michael, Jean and Kathy; his daughter-in-law Janet Lyon; his stepchildren, Donnie Newbold III, Cristin Werner (Scott Werner) and Nick Newbold (Victoria Newbold); his grandchildren, Nicholas Berube, James Berube, Marie Boyer and Christopher Boyer; his stepgrandchildren, Piper Newbold, Kennedy, Collins and Teddy Werner; his great grandchildren, Finn and Evie Berube; Emerilda, Paris and Rangeley.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Norfolk Chapel of H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments (1501 Colonial Ave, Norfolk, VA 23517).
