She is survived by: her siblings, Elliott Gadsden of South Carolina, Kenneth D. A. Meggett of Norfolk, Troy Gadsden of South Carolina, Jamiel Meggett of Florida and Dyani Meggett-Sowell (Lonzie) of Suffolk, Virginia.; her close friends, Crystal, Elsie, Deanna, Carla (Kool-Aid) and Tanisha; and her caregiver Avanti Morris. She is also survived by two nephews, seven nieces, two great-nieces, and a host of extended family.
