He was predeceased by: his parents, Lula Overton (Mullins) and Miles Overton Sr.; his wife Lillian Overton (Vaughan); his son Kenneth; and his sisters, Emily (Brooks) and Beatrice (Tripp).
He is survived by: his children, Barbara (Ramsey Sr.), Myles III, Marcus and Cynthia (Calvin). He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, a host of family and many friends.
