He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Canty and Willie Mae Boush Canty. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Canty. He is also survived by his daughters; brothers and sisters; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family, friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Suffolk Chapel (268 Holladay St, Suffolk, VA 23434).
