She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Sr. Bazemore and Mary Anthony Bazemore; her husband Fred D. Gary; her daughter Elaine Green; and her siblings, Odell Augborn, Percy Anthony Jr., Clarence Anthony, James Anthony, Forris Anthony and Rollister Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara (Pastor Harlon Heard), Annette (Neal Patterson) and Frederick (Thomasene); her brother Frederick (Annette); and her daughter Freda (Daniel Ware). She is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
