She was predeceased by : her parents, Alonzo Kenneth Sr. and Elizabeth Gillis Wallace. She is survived by : her husband Lee Edward Norton, Jr.; her siblings, Lorraine Lundgren, Dorothy Tolliver, Bonita Edgerton and Alonzo Kenneth Wallace Jr.; her son-in-law David J. Patrylak; her children, Susan Elizabeth Owens (Craig), Dean Edward Norton and Debra Lynne Patrylak; her grandchildren, Michael Turner, Melissa Barnhill (Cameron), George Bunch III (Ashley), Jennifer Deisch, Lindsey Norton (Madde), Brittany Norton (Ciara), Melinda Patrylak and Malleri Patrylak; her great grandchildren, Landon, Brayen, Benjamin, Madeline, Tabitha, Hayden, Grayson, Charlie Grace, Armonie, Maleyah and Nycolai; and her pet Duke.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home (6329 E Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23502). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
