She was predeceased by: her parents, Curnel Owens and Rose Lean Turner of Drewryville, Virginia.; her daughter Jean Ward; and her husband Willie Claud. She is survived by: her siblings, Curnel Turner Jr. (Short), Henry Wilbert Turner, Rosevelt Turner, Maebell Turner, Anna Rose Claude, Mamie Joyner (Catherine), Lula Bishop and Vivian Claud; her son Leon Claud (Linda) of Chesapeake, VA; her siblings, Essie Mae Turner and James Owens Turner; her grandsons, Prinston Claud (Sharon), Lovell Claud (Ebony), Cornelius Ward (Nadina Lynn), Hosea Claud (Cheree) and Apollos Claud (Tekeia); and her close friends, Lillie Ward, Litre Ford and Dorena Roberts Viewing Friday. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
