It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Jean Aplet of Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on May 31, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Norma Jean Aplet to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Goldie Brisentine Spickard (Johnson) and William E. Johnson; her brother Robert Johnson; and her former husband Robert Graybill. She is survived by: her husband Len; her children, Mark Graybill (Susan Pollack) and Sherry Johnson (Terry Johnson); her grandchildren, Brandt Graybill (Nikki Harris-Graybill), Stephen Belechak (Stephanie Belechak), Lindsay Derby (Bryan Derby) and Cody Johnson (Lexie Cron); and her great grandchildren, Zoe, Bryson, Rowan, Isabel, Charlotte, Charles and Jack.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home (8464 Tidewater Dr, Norfolk, VA 23518). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sentara Foundation for Hospice.
