He is survived by: his children, Jewell Foster of Norfolk, Virginia, Windell Baynard Sr. (Mary) of Norfolk, Virginia, Norman Baynard Jr. of Norfolk, Virginia, Alan Baynard of Norfolk, Virginia and Keith Baynard (Deena) of Norfolk, Virginia; his siblings, Cornelia Robertson, Carl Baynard and Harding Baynard; and his in-laws, Professor Edward McCluney Jr., Ethel Copeland, Scarlett Parson, Constance Berry, Paulette Williams (Raymond), Marjorie Allen (John), Rose Dykeman and John McCluney. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
