She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Harrison and Lillie Mae Cherry; her children, Richetta Cherry, Nicole Cherry, Randy Cherry and Tony Cherry; and her siblings, Mary Houser, Susie Spruill, Juanita Cherry, Annette Cherry, Bernette Hodges, Emma Cherry Simmons, Jesse Cherry and William Cherry.
She is survived by: her sister Otelia Cherry of Norfolk; and her children, Chuck Cherry and Denise Cherry. She is also survived by grandchildren; a great-grandson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
