She is survived by: her sons, Dajuan Stancel and Davashio Stancel of Norfolk, VA; her grandchildren, Da'vasti Stancel, Da'zja Bell-Stancel, K'yonn Stancel, Ny'hei Smith, De'Esca Stancel, Dayzon Stancel, Tayveon Smith, Dashara Matthews and N'Shaye Matthews; her sisters, Rev. B. J. Stancel and Bertha Stancel; her friend Dorothy Ware; and also Shirley Sainford of Suffolk, VA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
