She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Taylor Saunders and Georgia Blanche Edwards; and her husband William Fain Rutherford. She is survived by: her daughter Susan Marie Robinson (Randy) of Richmond, VA; her stepdaughter Lisa Rutherford Berndt of Oakland, CA; and her grandsons, Taylor Randolph Robinson (Emily Faraone) and Henry Harrison Robinson of Richmond, VA..
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Norfolk Chapel of H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts (1501 Colonial Ave, Norfolk, VA 23517). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Albert G. Horton Memorial Cemetery (5310 Milners Rd, Suffolk, VA 23434).
