With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Queen Esther Wiggins (Norfolk, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 25, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Queen Esther may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Queen Esther touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Brady Person and Minnie Russell Person; and her husband Cecil Wiggins, Jr.. She is survived by: her son Allan Wiggins; and her siblings, Ethel Scott, Elizabeth Kennedy (William), Florence Frederick (Carl), Marion Sheck, Lillie McGhee and James Person. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews.
