He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Mitchell and Ann Dougherty Mitchell; and his sisters, Mary Layne Vaughan and Vana Gay Pierce. He is survived by: his wife Rose Bullock Mitchell; his stepsons, Winston Craig Bullock (Tracey) and Kevin Wayne Bullock (Kelly); his grandchildren, Blake Bullock (Megan), Hannah Bullock, Noah Bullock (Paige) and Madison Bullock; and his great grandchildren, Everly Bullock, LilyKate Bullock and MaryBeth Bullock.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the R. W. Baker & Company Funeral Home and Crematory (509 W Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434).
