He is survived by: his brother Ronald West; his sisters-in-law, Brenda and Edna; his daughters, Shonta Spratley, Deshoan Riddick, Tia Butts (Derick, Sr.) and Tiffany Church; his grandchildren, Travis, Terrence, Tasheala, Deshanna, Timothy, Alvin, Derick, Jr. and Kimora; and his friend Chester. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins.
