He is survived by: his brother Jim Caldwell (Betty); his children, Marcia C. Kline Newcomb (Thomas Dale Newcomb), Deborah J. Caldwell (Gloria Feldman), Helene Caldwell and David B. Caldwell of Virginia Beach; his grandchildren, Lori Kline Huddleston (Ross), Kristy Kline, Diana Kline Blaney (Jaton), Geoff Kruvand (Liz), Nikki Winckel (Jason), Kellie Potter (Matt) and Katie Baker; his great grandchildren, Callie Joy, Holly and Evelyn Huddleston; and his grandchildren, Kendal, Brendan Pierce, Gabriel Blaney, Maya Kruvand, Brooklyn, Emerson Winckel, Grayson, Harper and Baker Potter.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
