He was predeceased by: his parents, Van "Pop" Ware, Sr. and Venetia Ware; and his brother Charles DuPree. He is survived by: his wife Anita W. Drummond; his children, Rodney E. Drummond, Jr., Tenishea D. Drummond, Carondalet W. Johnson (Monroe), Steven W. Penn, Kai B. White (Nathan), Sierra S. Penn and William J. Parker; his grandchildren, Rodney E. Drummond, III, Zayden C. Wilson, Elijah D. Williams and Zariah J. Butler; his siblings, Van "Icky" Ware, Jr., Sherrod O. Ware (Keesha), Tonya Dixon, Vandelette "Pookie" Lucas (Trevor), Henry "Cubby" Worsely and Juaquita D. Adams (Michael); his uncle Charles Brown; and his aunt Sharlene Collick. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
