Miales of Virginia Beach; his stepson Shannon Taylor of Norfolk; his grandchildren, Jared Steven, Ahmari Madison, Kameron Whitaker, Camiran Hankins and Shaquillex Midgette, Sr.; his great grandchildren, Jayce Murphy, Shaquille X. Midgette, Jr. and Tristan Midgette; his siblings, Ruth Johnson of Virginia Beach, Elizabeth Pugh of Detroit, Michigan, Walter Bland of Norfolk, VA, Alberta Sutton of Norfolk, Shirley Hunter of Chesapeake, VA and William Bland of Georgia; and his cousin Frances Downing of New York. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
