We are sad to announce that on October 2, 2025, Samuel Moore Hedgecock Jr. of Norfolk, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel M. Hedgecock, Sr. and Mary Lavinder Hedgecock (Pannill); and his brother Harry Pannill Hedgecock. He is survived by: his wife Jane Clarkson Hedgecock; his children, Greyson Hedgecock, Pannill Titus (Nick) and Hunter Hedgecock; and his grandson Gus Titus. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ & St. Luke's Episcopal Church (560 W Olney Rd, Norfolk, VA 23507).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society or Episcopal Relief and Development.
