She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Moton, Jocelyn Moton, LaVern Moton-Ophelia, Cynthia Moton, Brandon Moton and Navia Walden; her husband Sydney Lawson; and her sisters, Carolyn Evans, Jocelyn Moton, LaVern Moton-Ophelia and Cynthia Moton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; extended relatives and friends.
