He was predeceased by: his stepfather Peter Pawlus. He is survived by: his parents, Susan Pawlus and Chris Carpenter, Sr.; his stepmother Joan; his siblings, Jennifer, Marie Danner and Chris Jr.; his sister-in-law Sarah; and his siblings' children, Brielle and Bennett. He is also survived by many other family members as well as friends.
