He was predeceased by: his parents, Sugrim Ramsawak and Baby Sugrim. He is survived by: his wife Rajpatee Sugrim; his children, Mahendra Soogrim and Reshma Valentin; his son-in-law Willy Valentin; and his grandchildren, Shaheem, Justin Valentin, Mason Soogrim, Nicole Valentin and Daniella Soogrim. He is also survived by siblings, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
