Shane Murdock Obituary
We announce the death of Shane Murdock of Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on October 4, 2026. Shane will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Shane will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Shane will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Shane’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He is survived by: his parents, Kurt Murdock and Kathleen Murdock; his fiancée Hannah Cintron; his sister Mikaela; and his niece Maura.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 9:10 AM at the St. Pius X Church (7800 Halprin Dr, Norfolk, VA 23518). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Shane's name to the charities listed below, if desired.
