She is survived by: her husband Joe Harrell; her son Wade Harrell (Neda); her grandchildren, Maya and Elia; and her brother Shawn Lane (Frances).

She was a member of AQHA (life), Atlantic Saddle Club, VAQHA, NFQHA (life), USET Foundation, Virginia Horse Show Association, Palomino PHBA (life), Tidewater Western Riders, Tidewater Horse Council and the Virginia Farm Bureau.
