He is survived by: his parents, Alice Johnson and Wilson Johnson; his sister Peggy Covington; his sister-in-law Lorraine Johnson; his nieces and nephews, Jeremiah, A'nyla (AJ), Le'Nesha, Donyeal and Ashley; his son-in-law Davyne; his grandchildren, Amyah, Nardia, Landon, Janiyah, Janelle, Chaunte', De'jah, Alexis, Nyasia, Serenity, MyAngel, Dave'on, Caleb and Eva; and his great grandchild Ka'mari. He is also survived by godchildren, nieces, nephews.
