He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Arnold Barney (Miriam Eisenberg Barney Katz) and Virginian. He is survived by: his wife Marcia H. Barney; his stepchildren, Lauren Robinson (Russ) of Charlotte, NC, Lindsey Ferguson (Rob) of Charlotte, NC and Bridger Hodsden (Alice) of Altadena, CA; his stepgrandchildren, Drew, Julia, Jack Robinson, Lola, Ginger Ferguson, Rachel and Hodsden; his brother John Barney (Linda); his niece Jessi Barney Hart (Jamie); his nephew Jake Barney (Laura); his great-nieces, Abbey Hart and Cammie Barney; his great-nephew Ryan Hart of Washington, DC; and his cousin Normie Sher (Sandy) of Virginia Beach, VA. He is also survived by other cousins and very dear friends.
