She is survived by : her sister Charlesina Gladden (Luther); her nieces and nephews, Charlesina Gantt, Carol Wilds (Solomon), Sadie Gantt, Luthermae Young (Michael), JoAnn Bowers (Stanley), Janet Pugh (Randy), Brenda Gantt, Rhonda Gladden, Kieshia Gladden, Joseph Thompson (Evelyn), Jimmy Thompson (Delphine), Leon Gantt, Matthew Gantt and Terrance Gladden; and her children, Prince White, Marian Mack, Creolia Brickers, Jean White and Jonathan White.

Jonathan White wrote a sympathy message

“Salah, Thomasina meant so much to my family. A bond with our father, William White (6/1/90); the both of them represented a union that any couple could only dream of. They radiated and she was the gleam. I’ll never forget the time the two of us was at my dad’s bedside during a hospital stay. I had a portable CD player, I’ll never forget the aura of serenity she revealed listening to a rare James Brown cut ‘just won’t do right’ released only in the south ‘56: not rare to her. Romans 8 28”
