She is survived by: her friend Val; her husband Rondell Banks; her children, Denice Gary, Rondell Gary, Ron Gary (Arnisha) and Ronesha Gary; her siblings, Barry Gary (Monica), Florette Brown, Delvin Gary (Angela), Melvin Gary (Toni) and Miracle Parker (Robin); her grandchildren, Damont'e, Messiah, Elijah, Avianna, Zuri and Ahmod; her mother-in-law Vivian Banks; and her siblings-in-law, Cheryl Banks and Tremaine Banks. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, extended family members, coworkers, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Berkley Chapel (120 W Berkley Ave, Norfolk, VA 23523). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the First United Presbyterian Church (745 E 29th St, Norfolk, VA 23504).
