With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verashell Foreman (Norfolk, Virginia), who passed away on September 17, 2025 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sister Meshell; and her father Clinton Perguese. She is survived by: her mother Debra Sutton; her siblings, Alise Freeman and Arthur Freeman; her children, Calvin Murray, Jr., Dondre Murray, Anthony Lee, Jr., Aniya McCray and Shavonda; her daughter-in-law Danielle; and her grandchildren, Amiyah, Malonia, Ava, Arianna, Dondre Jr., Amaree and Amorah. She is also survived by uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, great- nieces and nephews, cousins, God-children, friends and family.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Keith Matthews Funeral Home (5665 E Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23502). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oakwood Chapel Church of Christ (982 Avenue E, Norfolk, VA 23513).
