She was predeceased by: her father Michael James "Speck" Garland; her husband John W. Walker, III; and her brother Michael James Garland, Jr.. She is survived by: her mother Mildred Devine Garland; her sons, John Michael Walker (Vicky) and James Garland Tyler-Walker (Richard); her grandson Justin Walker; her sister Barbara Meaders (Sandy); and her sister-in-law Kelly Garland.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home (6329 E Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23502). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
