In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Waller's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Byrd Whittemore and Thomas Merrill Whittemore; his brother Thomas M. Whittemore (Pete); and his granddaughter Juliana Porter. He is survived by: his wife Anne L. Albergotti; and his children, Richard W. Whittemore (Helen), Ann Byrd Porter (Kent) and Susan W. Stewart. He is also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Good Shepherd (7400 Hampton Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23505).
