He was predeceased by: his parents, Webster Monroe Chandler Jr. and Nancy Outland Chandler; and his brother William Outland Chandler. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Fay Smith Chandler; his children, Whitney Deal Chandler of Norfolk and Brynn Lee Chandler Noel (William Hayes Noel) of San Francisco, CA; his grandchildren, Evelyn Monroe Noel, Hayes Chandler Noel and Emily Fay Noel; his siblings, Nancy Deal Chandler (Paul Pomplun) of Suffolk, VA and John Maddox Chandler (Charlotte Webb Chandler) of Norfolk; and his siblings-in-law, Devri Lee Smith of Mitchellville, MD and Craig Dennis Kildall of Manassas, VA. He is also survived by nieces and one great niece; and dear friends.

The family suggests that memorial donations may be made to the Church of the Good Shepherd, the Virginia Zoo in Norfolk, or a charity of your choice.
