He is survived by: his wife Margaret Winfield Jarvis; his children, Debra Abdu Sabur (Saleem), Darryl Jarvis, Siddiq "Christopher" Sweet and Aisha Jarvis; his grandchildren, Kashif Sweet, Jarrell Sweet, Chrishaun Sweet, Darryl Jarvis, Alyssa Jarvis, Aliyah Sweet Fossett, Abdul Quudus Sweet Fossett, Elijah Jarvis-Gilchrist, Ta'mia Sweet Fossett and Edyn Jarvis-Hilliard; his great grandchildren, Lucas Jiminian, Sunnie Roach, Jr. and Nia Rae Swee; his siblings, Doris Cuffee and Lafayette Smith (Judy); Tracey Sweet Roach, Bernice Jarvis, William Jarvis, Rexford Rouse and Gene Jarvis Sr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends.
