He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Jean Abbott; his daughter Tracy Lynne; his grandchildren, Christopher and Tiffany (Robbie); his great grandchildren, Dakota, Aurora and Gwendolyn; and his brother Jerry. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, or an animal rescue in Ernie's memory.
