He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Sharp Sr. and Judy Coker Sharp; and his sister Cecelia Rose. He is survived by: his wife Rose C. Sharp; his daughter Lindsay Farley (John) of Virginia Beach; his grandsons, Leland and Everett Farley; his niece Alysha Stone (Kevin); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Caleb, Joshua and Ashlie Stone of Chesapeake, Virginia; his nephew Seth Sharp of Virginia Beach; his stepdaughters, Meredith Powers (Ryan Bateman) of New York and Melissa McPherson (Seth) of Portsmouth; and his stepgrandchildren, Alan and Brooke. He is also survived by friends, family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the SPCA, organizations close to Bill's heart.
