He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Lashley; his sister Gladys Lashley Parham; and his grandchild Chimere Morton. He is survived by: his children, Sandra Darlene Jones (late Linwood T. Jones) and William Lashley Jr. (late Joyce Lashley); his grandchildren, Erica D. Jones (Lawrence M. Jones) and Katiera L. Jones; his great grandchildren, Marissa A. Martin, Laila M. Jones, King Hampton and Kimora Hampton; and his great great grandchild Lamia A. Jones. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
